General
My main interest is music, and movies, concerts, and entertainment in general. I do have other likes, some shouldn't be added here, but life is as goiod as we make it, I like to have fun, but not at the expense of others...Music
Music is one thing that some people do not understand about me. I like most styles of music, I do not care for Disco however. I think musically I could say I like everything from Johnny Cash to Johnny Rotten, AC/DC to Zeppelin, George Jones to George Harrison and much in between. Some of my favorite new stuff would also be in a range. I love the stuff Blue October does, Stone Sour rocks, and check out the video below of the New Rivals, kickin' stuff kiddies!.. I am a horror and suspense movie and Sci-Fi lover. That's not all I like, I do like good comedies, but in the last few years there have been very few movies that have actually made me laugh. I have many heroes, and most of which are music industry people that have been willing to take a chance and steer away from the norm. The main reason I got into radio was because of JOX like Cousin Brucie, Don Imus and Don Mabee. Dare to be different and take some chances. Cookie Cutter music is all over the radio today, I respect anyone that gives up and coming unique music a chance.
I love to hear new and unique music by artists and bands that actually follow their own heart and passion rather than copying another style or artist/bands music to the "T".Contact about Reviews etc.

About me:
....I've been around music my whole life . My mom is a great singer , kinda like Loretta . My brother was always playing guitar and singing stuff like John Prine, Kristofferson, Shel Silverstein etc. Great stuff , I listened (no musical talent for singin' or playin'). I listened to the radio , to records , 8 tracks, cassettes , now CD's . God ain't life grand!
I was blessed to work in radio for a long period of my life, I've done it all there... Not bragging , but it's true . I was morning announcer , afternoon announcer, morning side kick (yeah , I do have a sense of humor , not shared by everyone.....), I was music director , program manager , and promotions director . {I still prefer the term DJ to announcer , but oh well}. I have written music reviews for different magazines , newspapers ,and publications I have managed a few individuals and bands that shall remain nameless, mostly because they are no longer trudging the road to music stardom.
I have produced some demos and Independent albums for people (from fiddle music to country, metal and pop). Yeah , I guess you could say music plays a big part in my life. Music is a passion that is not shared by all. Some people like music, but don't live for it, I have and always will believe that music is one of the major reasons that I can keep some level of temporary sanity.
Remember that the artists that make the music spend their time to make us the listeners happy, and sometimes it is a thankless job, so what I always tell people is "The Biggest Compliment You Can Pay and Artist or band is to buy their work."
