Three siblings, with Latin Rock in their veins, provide a laid back yet energetic style of music to entertain their audience.
RiKo’s style of music is a product of a mix of cultures and experiences the integrants have gone through. Because they have experienced some hardships in their lives, they became very aware of emotions. These emotions drove them to inspiration and to the compositions that will be released soon in the debut of “Almas Desnudas.” Passion and perseverance drive these young, talented, human beings every day from early in the morning to late nights for the purpose of serving and giving to their audiences a smile and comfortable music for their travels through out life.
By mixing Pop rock, and other influences they have resulted with a musical proposal exquisite in harmonies, voices and a rhythmic richness that makes the band appeal to large audiences. The guitars, keyboards and rhythms conjugate in an exciting fusion that flows smoothly and intensifies human emotions. The songs have a simple language with a positive message that deal with feelings that everybody can identify with.
The band started in 2006 with Jose Rico (Voice, Main Guitar), Victor Bejar (former Guitar) and Milton Rico (Drums).
In 2008, Marian Rico (Keyboards, Background Vocals) and Kenty Love (Bass) joined the band.
Last year RiKo performed in several places from which we can highlight their participation in the most important event in the Latino community in Philadelphia —The Hispanic Choice Awards, at the Kimmel Center for the performing arts.
This band prepares every day and has made the commitment to high standards. They have made their commitment to excellence. They have made the commitment to them selves, but more importantly to you.

Riko es una banda de rock en español que logra un estilo unico integrando mezclas de guitarras eléctricas y teclados con diferentes estilos ritmicos que se conjugan en una fusion muy agradable, la cual llega perfectamente dentro de la sensibilidad juvenil en todo genero, con un lenguaje descomplicado y sencillo con el objeto de compartir un mensaje positivo dentro del entorno cotidiano de cada joven a partir de las vivencias descritas en cada cancion.
La banda comenzo en el 2006 con Jose Rico (voz y guitarra principal), Victor Bejar (guitarra) y Milton Rico (percusion) profundizando dentro del genero metal en lo referente a su estructura y fundamentacion. En el 2008 se unen: Marian Rico (teclado y voz) y Kenty Love (bajo) para aportar en la creacion de una fusion de pop latino con el rock pesado en cuyas mezclas dan el resultado de un rock alternativo muy interesante y agradable para los publicos.
Jose Rico hizo parte de grupos como Excelsis, y la la banda “Under an Eclipse” desde el 2003 hasta el 2007 donde ejecuto magistralmente la guitarra.
Kenty Love es parte de la banda “Tribal Scream” y ha sido integrante de diferentes bandas como: Kandela, Los Muchachitos, Philatinos, Anthony Colon y Rarbta. de igual forma, dentro de su trayectoria ha compartido escenarios con artistas populares como Cabas, Cafe Tacuba, Huey Dunbar entre otros, abriendo sus conciertos.
Con su musica Riko difunde un mensaje abierto hacia la humanidad expresando su pensar, su sentir, sus temores y su caminar.
En el ultimo año Riko ha interpretado sus canciones en varios lugares de Philadelphia de los cuales vale la pena resaltar su participacion en uno de los eventos mas importantes de la comunidad latina,” The Hispanic Choice Awards” en el Kimmel Center.
Actualmente Riko trabaja en la produccion de su primer disco “Almas Desnudas” cuyo lanzamiento esta programado a mediados del 2009.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
