About me: I've lost the simplicity of being naive, because I'm not anymore. I've had my heart broken, and he is still one of my best friends. My closest friend and I discovered that we cannot give ourselves the "bestfriends" title - it limits our friendship. We're sisters, plain and simple. I went through a rebellious stage and got myself kicked out of my house. I lived with my alcoholic father for exactly thrity-two days; until he hit me again. My mom and I were rocky for a few months, but we've basically solved all of our problems, and we're super close. I experienced a lot of firsts last year: first boyfriend, first job, first love & heartbreak, first drunken night, first real connection with God, first wake up call, and first look into the real world. These events are all helping to shape who I am. i've figured out who my true friends are, and I'm chosing to be around them. All in all: I've hurt, been hurt, and I've learned. It's all about growing up and finding yourself.
