We're not a band! We're a radio programme! MIKE RIMMER is the main producer and presenter. He's accompanied on Tuesdays by ACTION AL and on Thursdays by DAPPER DAN and then TONY CUMMINGS pops up on Wednesdays to play new music and chat about stuff. GARY D could pop up on any night and join in!

Rimmerama is a radio show influenced by the free spirit of legendary BBC Radio One DJ John Peel. the programme is continually seeking out new Christian music and researching the old stuff to bring a balanced diet of every type of Christian music imaginable. Like John Peel, presenter Mike Rimmer loves to discover new bands and new music and is often the first person to play their music on the radio or the first person to give them an interview.

Perhaps it's easier to say what it doesn't sound like. Rimmerama is a radio show that sounds totally unlike any Christian radio you've ever heard before! It actually has a sense of humour!
RIMMERAMA is a radio show broadcast on Cross Rhythms in the UK. It airs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm. (noon to 3pm CST USA)
The show is a Christian music show but don't let that description fool you. It has bite!!! Imagine a radio show that introduces you to the latest in Christian music from all over the world and includes the best rock, pop, hip hop, R&B, gospel and whatever else you can imagine blended into an infectious three hours of entertaining, inspiring, mindblowing radio. bands you've heard of are mixed with bands that are totally new. You get the latest releases and classic older music to make sure you understand that Christian music wasn't invented by Amy Grant or dc Talk. Some of it is decidedly leftfield and Mike Rimmer is blessed with a unique sense of humour.
This is music, ministry and fun all rolled into one show. Just when you thought you knew everything about Christian music, here comes a show to shatter your prejudices. If you're sick of the same old same old when it comes to Christian radio and stations that play the same twelve songs over and over again with presenters who have nothing to say, it's time you discovered Rimmerama.
