About me:
Hi and welcome! You've entered a realm of fantasy... danger... adventure... and magic.
The Ring of Auberon is a new comic book project that is going to be entered in the Comic Book Challenge 2007, an annual contest sponsored by Platinum Studios. On the writing side is Eric Jones, unpublished novelist. On the art side is graphic artist and illustrator Erick Marquez. Together, they've come up with an exciting concept that should make a splash in the industry.
Here you can follow the comic book from creation to contest entry to final pitch (if it makes it that far!). You'll find blogs from the writer and the artist, a synopsis of the storyline, sample artwork and concept sketches. And when and if we make it to the finals, guess what? YOU the reading public get to vote on the winner!
