MySpace a place for friends

This MySpace page is dedicated to the Rings of Honor role-play games, settings and community, and is intended to act as an introduction for new players and a place to ask questions.

Rings of Honor is a text-based role-play gaming community.

text-based = All gameplay takes place in chat rooms and private messaging. No animated graphics, all text. RoH currently uses FlashChat as its mode of chat.

role-play = Instead of playing as yourself, you play as a character. But, unlike most video games in which your character is already created for you, you determine what your character will be. The setting of Rings of Honor is one where people of all places, races, and times meet, so your character can be anyone, or anything, you want.

gaming = Dueling is what most distinguishes Rings of Honor from all other roleplay communities. In each duel, you face off against a single opponent. Both you and your opponent select a move and private message it to a caller, and the caller then compares the moves and presents the outcome in the chat room.

Anyone and everyone! Rings of Honor is always looking for new players.

What do I need to get started?
All you need to do is register a username in the forums. Once you are registered, you can utilize the site's message boards and live roleplay rooms. Rings of Honor is run by the players for the players, so it's completely free.

Do I need to create a character before I can roleplay or duel?
Yes, although it's completely up to you how much you want to put into your character. You will need at least a name, of course, so that everyone knows what to call him or her (or it!).
