   About Rings of June
Silently Awake "A"

Add to My Profile | More Videos Silently Awake "B"

Add to My Profile | More Videos The music of Rings of June is evocative, emotional and beautifully melodic. Haunting vocals with tremendous power and range, guitars that weave intriguing musical tapestries, and poetic lyrics that marry the cascades of the melody. This intense music connects directly to the mind, heart and soul.

Sarah Boucher and Jeff Stamp met in June 2001. They began a creative musical collaboration, and Rings of June was born the following year....

Sarah Boucher is a classically trained vocalist and pianist, with a deep appreciation for many different styles of music. She started performing at an early age, and this led to a passionate interest in musical theatre. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. Although her main interest has always been in the alternative/indie/folk/rock music scene, she also has a love for electronic styles, celtic ballads, blues and opera. Whether the music is intense or calming, this singer/songwriter connects emotionally through her wide, powerful vocal range and sensitive piano playing.

Guitarist Jeff Stamp comes from his own divided school of music. Having a limited music education he has experimented with many different sounds and genres. Alot of his music is filled with melodic minors, sensual vibrations, distortions and busy notes. With gentle vocals and unique, diverse guitar playing, this songwriter has created a sound unto himself.

These artists speak from their hearts, and their music holds genuine truth and honesty which connects with those who hear it.

As you breath you do you feel real
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I say leave all that will deceive and just breath in the positive and see it grow and start to glow like the rising sun you will shine light on everyone who comes in contact with how you act giving sight to the blind helping those who are lost find there way I say today and next just breath and know that you are a powerful being who can be seeing all the greatest of this existence
Kaneel's I've sketched it a while ago goes into presales today, and will be released febuary 25th !
You can buy the album now (http://www.apegenine.com/shop.htm) and it'll be shipped on release date the 25th of febuary.
Thank you for your support.
About Kaneel's music:
I’ve Sketched It A While Ago is French musician Guillaume Richard’s first commercial release, and we’re proud at Apegenine to debute another great talent.
It would be easy to dub this release ‘ IDM’, but just as Kaneel’s been showing in the netlabel scene for years now, his music is much more than drills and bass. Under the overlaying fuss of glitches and hectic beatwork, Kaneel’s subtle music sinks into nostalgia and tenderness with his explorations into pop melodies. ‘Naïve’ is a term often used to describe Guillaume’s tracks; unstable and ecclectic yet dreamy and welcoming, the result is a sometimes chaotic feud of cuteness and destruction and other times, anthems to blowing bubbles and inspecting clouds.
Always on the move, Guillaume has recently expanded his vision by seting up the petite&jolie (http://www.petitejolie.com/) netlabel alongside friend Maxime Lethelier, searching and releasing naive/cute music from all around the world.
Includes 71 Songs That Defined An Era and Influenced Generations...
In Stores September 11!
Not just another genre, folk rock was born as a statement—of purpose, of taste, of superiority—the baby boom’s first imprimatur, a musical mission and a personal battle cry in a divisive time of racial tension and escalating war. For a generation of philosopher dropouts and drug-inspired visionaries, it was also the best way to partake in the era’s hippest form of artistic expression, in numbers previously unknown to man.
Sarah,
Thanks for shooting me the note and the add...I believe you may have met my wife at her Store? When I mentioned your band she knew about your Soleil adventure. My sister-in-law Kelly and my wife Tracey own and operate the Tickle Trunk Studio (Spirit Boutique). I found out about your band when I was speaking to "can't remember her name" at the Huntsville Jewlery Store. I was shamelessly promoting myspace and explaining that I am a lone songwriter/musician who has been recording a disk and was looking to connect with easy going open musicians in the area. I was told to check out your band! I did and I think it is very cool. You have a stellar voice. I have my own business that has me travelling to T.O a couple a days a week so I record when I am in the city. I am originally from Petawawa ON and settled in Huntsville with my family a year ago. After moving around feeling unsettled and over stimulated by the city. Huntsville is definately home. The spirit of the area is so refreshing and it allows me to leave behind the business of the city and get down to the roots of open energy and family. We absolutley love it here. Enjoy your new adventure! Congrats.
