Lx is a Drum n Bass DJ, MC and Junglist hailing from the Steel city of Sheffield UK. He first got into DnB in 1998 by passing around mixtapes through various members of different Sheffield Kru's and by being a regular raver at Sheffields premier
NYSUSHI
club night. Those raving days gave birth to Lx's love for party Drum n Bass and dance music and inspired him to buy records, MC/DJ and organize events. As a Dj Lx has been influenced by most of the Old Skool DnB/Jungle Artists such as DJ Rap, Hype, Nicky Black market, Kenny Ken, Randall and Mcees Skibba, Bassman, Det and so on. Other artists which Lx has much respect for are some of the soulful DnB producers like Marcus Intalex, Calibre, Klute, Marky and Makoto. Lx's set may be hard and nasty with the right crowd and also soulful and fresh if the vibe is right.
LX has been involved in DnB events such as 'Bring on the Bass' and 'Noize' and at the moment 'Mirai'
Since the days of NYSUSHI he has played at various parties in both Sheffield, Manchester and Overseas for the last 7 years. Today LX can be seen playing at his regular slot at the Upper Float in Chiba, Japan (last Sat. of every month) and at the brand new Mirai club night at Milk in Ebisu, Tokyo.
