Rio Morado is a reference to a river in the Philippines that appears purple at sundown. Eileen Cabalo and Steve Jones are the band members and seek to provide meaningful evocative and emotive ethereal music, sometimes with a secular twist.
Eileen and Steve both play various instruments. Steve composes most of the music and Eileen makes it moving. We hope you like our stuff. Songs we post here are actually incomplete versions and are the intellectual property of Rio Morado. The real stuff will be available when we finish the CD and our website (to be announced).
