Rio The Voice of Elvis gehört zu den weltbesten Elvis-Interpreten und wurde als einziger Impersonator von Elvis’ originalen Weggefährten der 70er Jahre begleitet. So reihen sich die komplette TCB-Band (Elvis’ Begleitband), die Sweet Inspirations (Elvis‘ weibl. Backup-Chor), Mitglieder der Gruppe The Stamps (bestes männl. Gospel-Quartett & Elvis‘ Backup-Chor) und Sherrill Nielsen (Elvis’ favourite Tenor-Singer) ein.

Seit Mitte der 80er Jahre ist er professionell im Musikgeschäft tätig, gewinnt unzählige internationale Elvis-Contests und ist mehrmals hintereinander Europa-Meister der Elvis-Imitatoren! Mit dem ihm zuletzt verliehenen Titel „Elvis 2000“ kehrt er diesen Wettbewerben endgültig den Rücken zu und tourt seitdem weltweit mit seinen legendären Gospel- und Las Vegas-Shows.

Er gilt in Fan-, Fach- und Pressekreisen als „bester Elvis seit Elvis“.

Rio The Voice of Elvis is without doubt one of the world best Elvis performers, the “Elvis-Presley-Association” (biggest Elvis Presley fan club in Germany) honoured him with the title: “Best Elvis since Elvis”. In 1995, he won the “Golden Elvis Award”. In 1999, he won the International Elvis Presley contest. Rio prevailed among 78 other contestants, coming from both Europe and the USA. He was presented the title: “Elvis 2000”.

Rio has performed with Elvis’ very own TCB Band, plus Elvis’ vocal backing groups The Sweet Inspirations, The Stamps and Sherrill Nielsen.
