Riotmen; are a loud punk rock band, influenced mainly by Shellac, Jesus Lizard, Don caballero, Fugazi, the Ex, sonic youth ect... Our stage shows are really energetic, with guitars and bodies flying all over the place, a dirge of filthy riff's, weird time signatures and turbulent rhythm to back it. We promise not to disappoint. Our first Record was recorded at Southern Studios at the end of January 2004, which has received some great reviews from numerous fanzines and press, not to mention airplay on the John Peel show (RIP) and the Huw Stevens show on Radio 1. Our new tunes were recorded and mixed at Chem 19 studios in Glasgow by Andy Miller (Mogwai among others) and mastered at Southern Studios. We will be recording again in the coming months to add to the existing recordings and will release a full length album.
