In Sumatra, Indonesia, illegal logging is threatening the habitat of the last remaining Sumatran tigers. This logging is causing problems for both animals and humans, and must be stopped immediately.Didy Wurjanto, head of the official nature conservancy agency in the area, has taken steps to stop this illegal practice. Please ask Wurjanto to do everything possible. Six people were recently killed from tiger attacks in Sumatra in less than a month. Three tigers were also killed by civilians in this same area. This battle for territory cannot go on, especially when these tigers are not only fighting for their lives, but fighting for existence.
Fewer than 400 Sumatran tigers remain in the wild, and we must do everything we can to protect these animals and the forests they call home.
Please sign today to help stop illegal logging in Sumatra.
Thank you for supporting WEC (Wildlife Educators Coalition). WEC is a relatively new environmental awareness organization based out of Western, New York. At WEC we offer animal presentations where the audience has a personal, one-on-one experience with the animals where we spread our word of wildlife and animal conservation. WEC is an organization that broke off from another wildlife educational group due to different goals and messages. Here at WEC our mission is not only to preserve the animals that inhabit our world, but to help spread a message on conserving the environment. We hope to leave our audience with a thrill they will experience nowhere else. Our core volunteers are all experienced in the business of the animal and environmental awareness industry. We have big plans for the future which are only possible through your help. We are thankful to any bit of help a person can give to WEC, whether it be telling a friend about us or giving a small donation; WEC appreciates and values the time and effort you give for our organization. For questions or comments please feel free to visit our website: www. beta. nywec. org. Once again, thank you for your support; we look forward to building a relationship with you.
Thank you for your support! We appreciate your continued friendship.
Take care, Sharon - Site Keeper Petra Luna For Animals
