From 2000-2004, this band actually existed in true form. Going through the motions of driving to a new town to play a show, coming home to rest, going into the studio to record, then hauling ass out of town again to play another show. That was our life. All the things you would expect from a working music group. Then it all came to an abrupt hault in 2004. Not from the pressures of stardom (ha!), not from people in the band hating each other, not from any of the other horror stories one may hear about these kinds of break-ups. It was more akin to a snowball effect. One small change and the unstable mountain we had positioned ourselves on carried us back down cliffside. Then there was time to reflect. LOTS of time to reflect. And hey, thats all fine and dandy. But it wasnt only the band members doing this. All of the people that have supported us over these years, well, just couldnt let it go. And then the time period that could be defined as the death throes that accompany this sort of sudden break-up were gone. But the fervor from our fans wasnt. Years had come and gone but the energy stayed locked inside those who still love the music. And this is something we could no longer ignore. So we've decided to resurrect a band that had been dead for 4 years, not only relive some of the good times we had ourselves, but also to give back to those who so adamantly demanded new shows to quench their proverbial thirsts. And thats what we shall do.
So ya I was thinking you guys should do a show in Nashvegas asap! oh and could you add the first version of "This Shot" you did to your profile???i want to put it on my profile:)
Make sure I know when the next show in Nashville is. I think I'll get to go!!!! Can't wait to get my groove back on. It's been retired for too long. :)
