Glimpse the world through the eyes of a child, and recapture the lost sense of the strange.
Descend into the belly of the Shunt Vaults, and be captured in a subterranean playground created by 25, ravenously creative, under-25 year olds.
Immerse yourself in adventure; expect performance, installations, music, and childish things for adults only. Come and Play.
RIPE AND ROTTEN SHUNT LOUNGE WEEK is the culmination of a BAC YPT3 project. Over the past 2 months, BAC YPT3 have collaborated with Shunt and other leading artists and arts professionals to produce, perform, design and market their own multi-art-form SHUNT LOUNGE event.
Each evening includes pieces of work devised and designed by BAC YPT3 under the direction of Hannah Ringham, Martina Von Holn, Melanie Wilson, Mischa Twitchin and Silvia Mercuriali.

BAC YPT comprises YPT1 (12-14 yrs) and YPT2 (14-16 yrs) and YPT3 (17-25yrs). Each year BAC's finest artists are invited to work with the groups, developing theatre making skills and creating innovative performance pieces.
