BIOGRAPHY :
Horgoth can first be defined by its intense and agressive music : a warlike and violent black metal. Horgoth comes from the german words "hoch gott". This french band, created in 2007, has for purpose to let its music evolve in order to get the most brutal and catchy songs. Far from a traditional black metal, Horgoth wants to stray from the satanic thought and from the poor sound often associated to this kind of music. The band aspires to be modern in its way of thinking and its way to consider its music, and as a fact try to reach a constant evolution. 4 constant members are part of the band : Baal (Voice/Guitar), De Chirurg (Drums), Ascaris (Voice/Bass) and H.Klon (Lead Guitar).
With the recording of its 5 songs first demo called "It finally comes..." and the end of its first mini-tour, including one gig with the french band Psykup, Horgoth is now ready to record its first full length cd which should be release during 2010.

Horgoth se définit avant tout par sa musique rapide et agressive : un black metal belliqueux et violent. Horgoth est tiré de l’allemand « hoch gott ». Ce groupe dijonnais (Côte d’or, France) fondé en 2007 a pour obsession de faire évoluer sa musique dans l'optique d'obtenir les morceaux les plus brutaux et percutants possible, tout en s'éloignant des clichés black metal traditionnels. En effet, loin de l'image, de la pensée sataniste et du son sale qui lui est souvent associé, Horgoth se veut moderne dans sa façon de penser et d'envisager sa musique poussant ainsi à une évolution permanente du groupe. Composé de 4 membres permanent : Baal (Chant/guitare), De Chirurg (Batterie), Ascaris (Basse/Chant) et H.Klon (guitare), Horgoth sort renforcé de ses premières expériences musicales, à savoir : l'enregistrement d'une première démo 5 titres pressée de manière professionnelle en 2008, intitulée « It Finally Comes... » et l'achèvement d'une première mini tournée à la rentrée 2008 dont une date en première partie de Psykup. Horgoth est désormais prêt à passer à passer à l'étape supérieure et est déjà en train d'élaborer son prochain album qui devrait sortir courant 2010.
