Rising Conviction makes you sweat fire ants and piss hot iron. We don't listen to Metal and we don't eat salads. We do play what you'd call "Alt-Metal" when you have to make up a name so you can tell a friend about us. This is smart, hard rock without the cliches you've come to expect. Intricate. Catchy. Complexity wrapped around simplicity. Take a listen if you want to get some sounds around the back of your neck. It's all balls out mania for the good fight that you'll love if you're a fan of System of a Down, Tool, Rollins Band, Korn + that time you got punched in the skull.
Saving Sons' is the follow up EP to Rising Conviction's 2005 debut, 'Salazar Brothers'. It's o-the-point and gritty, 'Saving Sons' is upbeat, weirdo alt-metal with hints of dance rock and textures not usually indicitive of the genre. You'll want to turn this up.
Sunday Sept 7th at 6:30pm come join us at BS West bar in old town Scottsdale for a FREE show to benifit the One in Ten Charity. The Mind Museum will be preforming and after that karaoke will begin for the rest of the evening. NO cover charge. A percentage of the proceeds made at the bar will go to charity.
