With an unbelievable mix of Roots Reggae, R&B, Rock, and Blues in his sound, Rising Lion has developed a reputation for bringing good vibes to every show he plays, with his conscious lyrics and soul stirring music. In addition to being part of the Lion Productions / Ruff Stuff Records family, Rising Lion has finished the long awaited third full – length album. The album is entitled American Dread. With songs like, “American Dread”, “Herbalist”, “Survival”, and “My Life”, this album will be a testament to the experiences and growth of the artist over the past 3 years. As always, The Lion is committed to diversity in his music and the message of peace, love, hope, and equal rights for all mankind. Thus this album will serve up reggae in various musical styles, accompanied by the Lion’s fiery blues guitar, in the vein of the debut album New Day and sophomore release Don’t Lose Yourself (Ruff Stuff Records).
