Born and Raised In El Paso, Texas native Beatriz started performing live at the tender age of 8. Her first show was at her Elementary talent show dancing to a Mariah Carey song. From there on Beatriz knew the she was destined to be on stage performing live. In 1995 Beatriz perfomed for a large crowd at a tribute to Selena. She then joined her school choir. Inspired by such artists as Selena, Ruben Ramos, Little Joe, Sunny Ozuna, Laura Canales and more, Beatriz wanted to be a part of that lifestyle. Beatriz went on to do several parties, weddings, quincineras, bazaars, festivals, car shows and fundraisers. Following the rest of her Family Beatriz showed her talent on what she could do in the music business. Raised with the true sounds of Tejano Music, Beatriz sang and danced with artists like Selena, Patsy Torres, Emilio, Little Joe, Fama, Jean Le Grand and many more. Beatriz has been featured in such magazines and newspapers like Orlies Lowrider Magazine, La Prensa, Tejano Times, El Paso Times, Odessa American, El Diario De Juarez, Pecos Enterprise and more. She has toured several cities in Texas and New Mexico. Beatriz sang the National Anthem for several events including the Marfa Lights Festival and a Veterans Event with Congressman Silvestre Reyes. Beatriz was named "El Paso's Rising Star" by the city of El Paso. Singing and performing in front of a crowd gives Beatriz an undescribeable feeling. "I feel I can acheive anything when Im on stage". Beatriz has had many great opportunities to perform with Internatonal artists like Los Tigrillos, Dinora Y La Juventud, Los Capi, La Onda, Jennifer Pena, and more. Being under the lights, the loud music and screams from the crowd give Beatriz more motivation to continue her career and give back to the community. Beatriz was part of the El Paso Lions Club raising money for the unfortunate and needy. She participated in raising money for the blind, homeles, cleaning up several parts of the community and volunteering for city wide events. Beatriz has had the opportunity to open for Legends such as Sunny Ozuna, Little Joe, Fama, Agustin Ramirez, Carlos Miranda, Fandango Usa, Patsy Torres, and La Mafia. Beatriz feels that withthe support and help from her family, friends and public she has accoplished so much. In 2006 Beatriz recorded her first 2 singles in Dallas. This meant so much to her considering she not only performed them, she wrote them. Beatriz is working ..ing the remainder of songs to release her first CD. "Being able to share my music with the public is so wonderfull!" Being able to show the many talents she has, means more to Beatriz than words can say. 2007 will be a new and refreshing year for Beatriz. She performed for the 2007 TTMA Fan Fair, the Tejas Records VIP Party and joined the festivities at the 2007 Industry Awards and the TTMA Awards. Being able to be a part in keeping La Onda Tejana alive is important to Beatriz. She wants to be a role model for many latinos and children who sometimes feel that they cant be something more. Someday Beatriz wants to be remembered not only as a singer, but as a talented and caring person who tried her best to fullfill her dreams and inspire others to follow theirs! Beatriz was featured on BNET Radio and web site, Tejanoentertainment.net, Tejanolive.net, and more. She appreciates the support of her friends and family because none of this would be possible without them. Having them by her side makes her feel complete. Beatriz thanks EVERYONE who has supported her in the past as well as everyone who has given her the opportunity to perform at their venue. Look out in 2007 for Beatriz. She has much talent and dedication and hopes to be performing and meeting all of you soon!!
