Formed in 2002, Rising Sun Entertainment promotes shows that highlight great performing bands & artists throughout Los Angeles, California, particularly indie jam bands and acoustic acts.

Every Tuesday, Son Vo is hosting AcoustiTuesday @ Brennan’s, featuring LA’s top musical talent in an acoustic setting. Highlighted acts perform from 9pm to 10:30pm, then house musicians perform until midnite. Shows are always FREE.

Nikki O'Neill	Dec 18 2008 12:41 AM Our all-girl Led Zeppelin tribute - Fem Zeppelin - is looking for a new bass player. We have the guitarist, singer and drummer. We're all experienced musicians and are looking for somebody who has performed with several bands before, who is a quick study, has a stable personality with no drama/drugs/drinking problems, pro work ethic or ready to move their playing on to the next level. Must have gear and reliable transport. We play all the Zeppelin classics + some more obscure songs for the die-hard fans. We're rehearsing once a week in North Hollywood with a goal to be out working in March -09. We're NOT about playing for free on Sunset Strip, but playing private and corporate parties, festivals, casinos and lucrative gigs through LA Unified School District, etc. If you have a day job, that's ok. Many of these gigs will require us to play 2-3 sets of songs, so be ready and willing to get to work and have fun with it! Contact guitarist Nikki O'Neill on her MySpace page for more info...
