Rising Up Angry is an upcoming national Metal band breaking out of Orlando, FL. It was formed in Chicago back in 1997 by Chris Williams (Chicago) on Guitars and Mick Vega (Chicago) on Guitars. Soon after relocating to Orlando, they found Eric Frate from New York (Bass Guitar) Marc Sugarman from Florida (Keys /Samples), and Joe Carlson from Detroit (Drums). After molding the sound of the band for many years and auditioning 62 singers from around the world, the group decided on Jason Ash from Texas as their choice to fill the position as the band's frontman.
Rising Up Angry’s live show is one not to be missed. The band has shared the stage with countless national acts such as Shinedown, Saliva, Rob Zombie, Atreyu, Lacuna Coil, Sevendust, Soil, Drowning Pool, Taproot, Nonpoint, Mudvayne, Trivium, Dark New Day and many, many more. Over the years Rising Up Angry has formed a unique and original sound all their own.
After a year and countless hours of recording, Rising Up Angry is ready to release the new CD titled “ON ANGRY GROUNDS”. This CD consists of dueling guitars, shredding solos, thunderous bass lines, in-depth drumming, and intricate keys and samples. All of this is rounded out by extremely catchy melodies and strong choruses, and is sure to win over the masses.
Rising Up Angry already has more than 30 tour dates booked across the United States and Canada for late summer of 2009 to promote the new CD. The band is sure to a leave a lasting impression on you and have you wondering what’s to come next.
