Risky Biz began in March 2004. We just wanted to start a fun hardcore band for our friends to sing along and mosh to. We never thought anyone outside of our area would ever hear it. I guess good timing and the "internet" help spread the word further than we ever imagined. Within a year we would be releasing a 7" and doing a full US/Canada tour. Then came a CD on Rock Vegas Records followed by more touring including 2 weeks with Righteous Jams. Then there was a split 7" with Nervous Wreck from the UK and 2 European tours. By that time the band had run it's course so we decided to end on a high note. We had a pretty damn good run for a band from a small remote city in Canada. Last show was Dec 29th, 2007 in Halifax, NS. Huge thanks to everyone that helped us along the way!! We never dreamed we would be able to do any of this. .... Buy the Some Days CD: ..HERE.. .. .. .... Risky Biz started up in March 2004. We like to play hardcore. We like to go on tour and play everywhere. We have a full length CD out on Rock Vegas Records...6 new songs, the demo track and some unreleased jams. And fresh off the press is a split 7" with Nervous Wreck from the UK. Sadly after 3 US, 2 canadian and 2 european tours we have decided to call it quits. We had a pretty damn good run for a band from a small remote city in Canada.
