Hari ini kita melangkah masuk ke bulan Ramadhan. Bulan yang penuh berkah. Bulan yang di dalamnya terdapat satu malam yang lebih baik dari seribu bulan. Bulan yang mana Allah SWT menjadikan puasa sebagai fardhu dan solat malamnya sebagai tathawwu’. Bulan yang siapa sahaja mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dengan melakukan amalan sunat, maka ia beroleh pahala sebagaimana mengerjakan fardhu di bulan yang lain; dan barang siapa melakukan fardhu, samalah ia dengan mengerjakan tujuh puluh fardhu di bulan yang lain.
Saya dengan ini mengambil kesempatan untuk mengucapkan selamat menyambut bulan Ramadhan dan menjalani ibadah puasa kepada sahabatku yg disayangi. Kita seharusnya bersyukur kepada Allah kerana masih dilanjutkan usia hingga tahun ini, di mana sempat sekali lagi kita menunaikan rukun iman yang ketiga ini. Ia tentunya satu kurniaan yang besar yang harus kita hargainya dengan bersyukur sebanyak-banyaknya dengan melipat gandakan ibadat serta usaha kita di dalam perjuangan menegakkan agama Allah.
