THE Original [1973] British cult and Nwobhm band. We are NOT the band. We have been granted permission to manage this page for the benefit if the many RITUAL fans out there. This page celebrates their highly influential contribution to the NWOBHM which has provided a lasting legacy and personal inspiration for numerous metal bands,and musicians. Considered by many fans as one of the defining Nwobhm bands of that era, and well respected by all their peers. In their heyday undervalued and ignored by the media and slated by the critics,and yet ironically their early records command very high prices, in current collectors markets. Notably the original and very rare "Widow" album.Fortunately Fans do not have to pay collectors prices! Due to the demand there are now high quality re-issues available all taken from the original masters.Now at last we can all get our hands on them. This truly unique music is a symbol of something precious almost lost, but thankfully not.
Classic RITUAL tracks on this fan page are from the albums "Valley Of The Kings" and the infamous "Widow" album. which were re-issued 2008,and featured here by kind permission of Gypsy Re Bethe. Both these classic albums are available from Shadow Kingdom Records on CD and Vinyl,complete with bonus 7" vinyl discs, new artwork and band history.
