Bio:

Halcyon's sound is the outcome of many influences. From fusion and guitar-driven jazz to melodic death metal and ambient folk music, the mixing of influence makes for an interesting breed. Complex yet rhythmic arrangements, powerful poetic lyricism and forefront guitar textures are trademarks of the unique project. Ignoring the frenzy of hardcore and trend setting music bustling in the area, Halcyon focuses on flowing musicality and performance while aiming to please the ears of musical enthusiasts, musicians, and indie listeners alike.

Right now, Halcyon is recording "The Drowning Of Ceyx". It has been a long and stressful process, with both financial and technical issues, but the album, despite all of the delays, will be released in 2009. All 7 songs will be available for streaming and free downloading on MySpace.
