Here at IRE we aim to bring you the best "No Bullshit" METAL!
Our lifestyle is simple. We work, we drink, we love music, we love gigs, and we love METAL! Among other bands here on myspace we wanna bring old METAL values back, pummeling the youth of today with real music!
IRE recorded their 4 - Track Demo "Statistic Nil" in 2007 at BMPro Studios at West Suffolk College. Additional Guitars and Vocals were recorded in IRE Studios (Craig's House). Self - Produced by the band and Mixed at IRE Studios.
Paulo - fancy surnames, slave to the system, Tom Cruise, making cocktails and proud Portugese metaller. Never done Vocals properly before, but awesome nonetheless. A naturale. Sounds like Max Cavelera in places. Enough said
Craig - has been playing guitar for a few years now, he likes nothing better than beer and miming pantera songs really LOUD. You will most likely meet Craig randomly, because he likes talking to random people about random things.
Joel - newest addition to Ire and the best bassist we've ever jammed with. He stands out from the rest hugely and is incredibly talented when it comes to music. He and Jack have been mates for a long time which is how he came about.
Jack - Awesome Drummer and started playing Drums when IRE started. Scottish and looking for a Jill. AKA - Jack the Lad. Likes Hats. One Funny as Fuck chap.
Sounds better? Elabourate. It's not about being uber-heavy, it's about doing what you do well. Yeah the pit was huge, but thats the audience not the band, it's the provoking that counts. I also remember standing there thinking 'oh... its a cover, by his old/other bandm, Lacks origionality, its like saying 'yeah, we havnt got enough tracks to fill a headlining slot really, so we'll put the spotlight on Max again and his achievements' Response?
:O Did you even see Bleeding Through? I saw both bands (although atmittedly only the last half of CC) Bleeding Through not only played some amazing songs, their stage presence was immense, they had the pit around the technicals, pissed off security by making everyone crowd surf and gave that inspiring speech on 'fuck the label, steal our music if you want!' I got a crowd surfer land on my head. Your arguement now please? :)
haha Thanks for noticing that! Thats a big part of Xorcist really, because it's kind of like a good-meets-evil band.
What I mean is that me [Tyler/Guitarist] is anti-Christian/Catholic and Diego [Vocalist/Bassist] is a devout Catholic. Alot of our lyrics are about good versus evil and its kind of how we are.
Well thats the idea lol I'm helping my newest Aussie apprentice in the dark ways of promotions, she's doing a good job so far. Titled 'Deadhouse Promotions' so give her a shout!
F#@K YEAH!!! Thanks for the add!!! Glad you dig the tunes!... Help us out and spread the word to everyone, and keep Underground METAL thriving!!!
Remember to request THE RECKONING OF MAN on KBPI'S METALIX!!! You can catch the brutality every night but Sunday from Midnight to 2am (mountain time) and WORLDWIDE @ www. KBPI. com!!!
