Riverside Studios is situated in the south side of Glasgow in Busby, twenty minutes from the city centre and 30 minutes from Glasgow Airport.
The studio complex features 2 fully equipped, spacious rehearsal/pre-production rooms and 2 recording studios.Whether you want to record your first demo, or your latest album, we have the facilites - and experience - to ensure you get exactly what you want from your recordings.
Studio 1 is a 24/48 track analogue with a fully automated 60 channel Amek Mozart desk, pine and stone live room, and isolation booths. Studio 1 also includes full digital spec.
Studio 2 is a 16 track analogue studio with soundcraft desk. Mastering in both studios is analogue and digital. Both studios have full mic specs and impressive outboard lists.
We aslo provide full digital and analogue mastering services.
We have 2 recently refurbished, spacious rehearsal/pre-production rooms, situated in a seperate building from the main studios, with recreation/vending facilities. Free car parking is also available for anyone using the studio.
We also offer a vintage gear hire service.

Riverside Studios also hosts The Optimus Project, which is a 3 level youth music development programne with over 50 bands participating to date. The programne is aimed at developing the participants songwrititng, performing and recording skills as well as increasing their knowledgeof the music industry and the opportunities which may become available to them. This is acheived through a series of skill workshops and a supervised rehersal, recording and performance programne, helping the participants to write, record and perform their works, which are included in project compilation CD's and on level 3, single releases for each of the artists.These releases are circulated and distributed for sale and review, helping the artists to build their profile in the music scene.
The project is run in partnership with Stow College, and participants completing the programne are able to gain up to 11 National Certificate Credits, making the project unique in delivering both practical and educational outcomes.
Optimus is both popular and successfull, with 5 compilation albums and 25 CD singles releases to date, and another compilation about to be released from the current participants , who are now working on tracks for their individual single releases in the summer. Riverside Studios have relocated to a new state of the art
purpose built facility in Busby in the South Side of Glasgow.

September 1:st our 1:st single, Dare To Lick (Hunter's Red Sleeve), from our upcoming album SILENT REVOLUTION,was released and is available on iTunes but also on our MySpace of course!
The album will be released October 1:st and later that month we go on tour in Germany with The Movements.
