The end of the 3 Rivers Music Festival was a big disappointment to the City of West Columbia. Last year, the city decided to build it's own music festival and thus the Riverwalk Music & Arts Festival was born.
Come help the City of West Columbia kick off its 2ND ANNUAL RIVERWALK MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL on APRIL 19, 2008 from 2-9PM by the Gervais Street Bridge. Lounge at the amphitheater and relish the sounds of Columbia's finest musicians. Look forward to THE RETURN OF DANIELLE HOWLE. Stop by the Artists' Courtyard to shop and VIEW THE WORKS of 25 TALENTED LOCAL ARTISTS. Enjoy the sites and sounds as you stroll through West Columbia's scenic Riverwalk. Bring a picnic lunch or dine at New Orleans Riverfront Restaurant. Either way this event is sure to please as ADMISSION & PARKING are FREE!! It will be held at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater, located on corner Gervais Street and Alexander Road.

Please help me turn Shadow from a sad Lab to a glad Lab!! I’m trying to find a new home for a friend’s 5 year old Black Lab, Shadow. She lives in Columbia, SC. Her owner has moved and apartment life just is not for her, she likes to play ball and isn’t allowed off her leash at home. She is an indoor dog who is house broken, well trained, loves people and is probably the only lab we know of that stays away from water (unless it is in a bathtub). Of course she does have a fault – she thinks she is a Chihuahua and sometimes tries to sit on your lap.
