About me:

Martinsville, VA 24112.
Built in 1935 by Rives S. Brown and Bernard Depkin, the one-story commercial structure is the only surviving example of a movie theater built in the 1930's in the town of Martinsville. Rives Theater was a very popular spot for the youth of the day, especially on Saturday. The theater continues to operate to this day.

Everyone who would like to see a movie, who is passionate about revitalization, and those who like to attend events at theaters in historic uptowns! We offer movies, music events, and will be offering other entertainment (comediennes) themed film series to add to the fun!
