RIVET NEWS: We are going to begin recording our full length album soon!!! within the next month or less!!!!!!!!!!!.
We are a METAL band based out of St. Paul, Minnesota (we're nicknamed the St. Paul Shredders). We actively gig around the St. Paul area, but we would like MORE GIGS so if anyone could help us out with that it would be BITCH'N. We'll play ANYWHERE basically. We're Original, Fast, Heavy,RAW, and if you like our music leave us a comment and come to one of our shows.
Rivet began back in '02 with Caleb Paulson(Drums) as the founding member. The original band disbanded soon after a few weeks and CALEB met Tim"FRANKENPUSS"Gadban(Guitar). From there, Kevin Alter(Guitar) and Jake daSilveira (bass & vocals) joined up and the early foundations of Rivet was made with that line-up. Jake quit due to some issues with Caleb and Wade Froelich took over temporary bass duties quickly after while Kevin took over the vocals. Dan Spreigl then joined up as our permanent bass player, and he recorded the 07 demo and helped us get a 2,000 dollar record deal by winning the Radio K Battle of the Bands.
Rivet then was signed to the local label Say Rah Records, a label ran by Ian Anderson, and went into the studio. After a year of delays, lack of communication and intrest, Rivet decided it would be better to leave Say Rah and just take the recording tracks. After more waiting and delays, Rivet is back working on the recordings and have decided to Self Release the recordings as the "Rivet" EP, due out in the near future.
Today Rivet has 10 fucking awesome original songs (and more to come).

all this stuff on our page is old and in E and has our old drummer and guitarist in it so we want to finish recording our new stuff because were much better now....

We were kinda disapointed with the results but last night was a lot fun anyways
yep =D ! but im pissed at it for breaking. the metal pieces on a guitar arent supposed to... you know.. snap into smaller pieces. I dont think will be a problem though.
