About me:
RIVET is a panoramic magazine that uses themes to connect ideas and capture our culture. An independent quarterly, RIVET presents smart new work in nonfiction, photography, fiction, illustration, poetry and graphic art.
RIVET began in late 2001 as a 12-page photocopied zine, thanks to an initial investment of a whopping $150. Since then, it has expanded into a full-blown magazine with top-notch content and production values. With more than 6,000 print readers, Rivet’s intrepid grassroots growth continues to gain momentum. Published by The Shunpike, the magazine is anchored in Seattle and has featured more than 220 contributors from across the United States.
