Hailing from schools of progressive, house, breaks, and incorporating some elements of trance, RJ is no stranger to the politics of dancing.
He's been a musician for pretty much all his life, beginning with classical music training (piano, guitar).
As he got older and more mature, so did his musical tastes. Being from the Chicagoland area, he's been brought up around house music, but he didn't realize just how powerful dance music could be until he heard his first Chemical Brothers record in 1994. The rest, as they say, is history.
RJ has made himself a nice home in the Chicago club circuit as a resident DJ with VISION Nightclub and SPYBAR Chicago. As a result, he's gotten to share the decks with proper global talent, including the likes of:
