About me: Aaahhh... the RK Maroon Story. Well, it goes like this: I was born on a September morn in 1947. My birthplace was Detroit Michigan. Before my new owner could take me home, I was delivered to a dealer in Akron Ohio. From there I was adopted and moved immediately to a small town near Scottsdale Arizona. A good thing too, because I spent the next 32 years there and suffered none of the cancer so common to my coastal cousins. In 1979 I moved to the Mohave Desert for a few years and then on to San Miguel, CA. That's where David found me in 2000. I was showing my age by this time, but still cancer free. Just the same, my condition was so bad cosmetically that I quickly acquired the nickname "The Beast". David took me to Santa Maria and began the 5 year rejuvination process that brought me back to my original splendor. David's daughter thought I looked so much like the cars in "Who Framed Roger Rabitt" that she re-named me RK Maroon, due in part to my new color. You can check out my pics to see the transformation take place.
Who I'd like to meet: Any mature car like myself, but especially Mopars and in particular, Plymouths (and their owners of course).

Hello RK, it was very nice to meet you finally! You're a beautiful car on the outside as well as the inside! A very good apple on the MoPar family tree! It's a pleasure to have met you!
Hey ya RK, how's things? Runnin' nice and cool? It's gettin' a little warm down here... I think I'll roll into that little radiator shop in Pomona and get my self checked out... I'm runnin' a little warm!
3751 is kept in LA... there used to be a Round House where she sat but, they took it down... :-( Darn City! It was fine, they didn't need to take it down... blah! So, now the poor thing has to sit out on a siding covered by a bunch of tarps! Kinda like my car in the rain... HAHAHA... awww, but that loco is worth so much more then my p-15.
WOA! That's really NEAT! I dig that photo of your mother and grandma!
I've loved trains ever since I was a wee one! Never have gotten over them... nor should I ever be! If you ever have the chance to see SF 3751 in person, GO! You'll never forget it!
Real live steam locos are just the coolest things to see operate!
