Originally from Macon, GA, Ryan Kent Whitehead is a current student at Kennesaw State University. As a member of the fast paced music scene of Atlanta, Ryan studied with Sam Skelton, one of the Southeast’s most prominent woodwind players. Though still early in his career, he has been given chances to work with numerous musical talents such as Jeff Lorber, Joey Sommerville, Frank McComb, Bob Baldwin, Jabo Starks, Chris Vadala, Randall Bramlett and Wayne Newton. Ryan is also a well-versed clarinetist and flutist.
Ryan can often times be seen with his own band Street Wise, the Nick Longo Band, The Electromatics, Madoca and Leeland Davis.
