All current and former members of The United States Armed Forces, Thank you for your service to this GREAT NATION and your sacrifices, and God Speed for your safe return home!
I am originally from a little town called Frederick Maryland. it's about 48 miles N.W. of D.C. Used to be more cows them people there, hence the term for the lifers there, Fredneckers! But since it's became a suburb of D.C., and the gangs and the crime associated with D.C., I moved to Green Cove Springs Florida. It's almost what Frederick was 25-30 years ago.
I have an avid love of history, especially the Civil War History of Maryland. I am a Son of a Confederate Veteran, Traced my roots back on my Fathers side to the 1st Maryland Calvary, Army of Northern VA, CSA. The secession vote for the State of Maryland took place in my home town of Frederick Maryland at Kemp Hall at the corner of N.Market Street and E. Church Street. Kemp Hall was owned by my ancestors on my mothers side of the family.
I also have a love of Railroad History. My great grandfather was an Engineer on the B&O RR, saw the conversion from steam to diesel. He worked his way up from Track layer, to engineer. My Great Uncle was also an Engineer on the B&O, later the Chessie System and then CSX. I still have cousins that work for CSX. So my families RR History goes back about 100 years.
I am also in the process of writing a book, The Drifter, Paying for past sins. This book needs to be written, I want this book to be written. Just writing it and including some actual events that took place in my life is helping me come to terms with some stuff I never really dealt with (but should of at the time). The writing is helping me release some long bottled up frustration, and anger at the world in general. I'll post excerpts from it from time to time on my blog here. Feed back will be appreciated.
I have an ebay business (Currently down due to injury, can't get around to run it)RLC_Trading featuring rare and collectable coins.
Hey, thought I'd drop by and say howdy. Hope everything is going well for ya. Like the new look to your home page, nice work and as always, nice tunes!
Dang, reading your list of favorite albums is a lot like reading my list. I'd throw in a few minor nits. Almost any of the Beatles albums could be a favorite for example (hearing Sgt. Pepper for the first time was a revelatory experience), but I might even put the White Album up there for all it's bedlam and chaos. Anyhoo.
Thanks for the add. Like the home page music. Not familiar with the artist but sounds a lot like Captain Beyond to me and always liked that whole vibe.
