Lee Spiller is a full time activist, part time musician in Austin, Texas. Since the age of three, he's played various instruments and written songs. "I still remember the first time I made up a song for somebody," he says. "I was three or four years old, laying in the grass outside of our apartment in Houston. My uncle Lee had just brought his fiance' to meet the family and I was dumbstruck. She was beautiful, graceful, exotic, and considering my age, my English wasn't too much better than hers. So I started singing her a song, making it up as I went along. I'm sure it wasn't a great song, but it was like magic. It created this special bond between us that's lasted to this day."
After playing in various bands on and off since he was 15, Lee retired from playing "other people's music" in 1996. Now, he prefers to write and perform originals either solo or with friends. His main writing partner is his son, Christopher Spiller. They're currently writing and testing songs for their next CD project, which should be completed some time in fall of '09.
"Performing an original song in public for the first time is like standing on stage and then looking down to find you've got nothing on," says Lee. "It's intensely personal. You're sharing your soul, and when it works it's like a deep, deep love. You get back at least as much as you give."

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
