Lindsey Tims began playing music at 5 years old. His first instrument was fiddle. He began taking lessons from Fiddler, Jan Johansson and continued training over the next 8 years. At some point, they began playing, recording, and performing together, rather than a teacher/student role. Lindsey also played with his parents in their band, The Tims Family Band, for 12 years. They played bluegrass music. Lindsey won numerous awards for his fiddling during this period. When Lindsey moved on to college he began to focus on his own work. Armed with the ability to play just about any instrument including guitar, drums, bass, keyboard and more, he started focusing on producing product for clients that want a one-stop solution to their musical vision. While living in Wilmington, Lindsey played with Jeremy Norris, Country Singer/Songwriter, however, he records and produces projects for artists of many genres. His instrumental talents are quite versatile, from acoustic fiddle tunes, pop rock, classic rock, progressive rock, jazz & blues, and even a bit of classical accompaniment. He has produced projects of rock, classical piano, bluegrass, folk, classical cello and many more. Lindsey currently lives in Raleigh, NC and works at Raleigh Music Academy teaching drums, fiddle, mandolin, guitar. He is also studio engineer for the new recording studio at Raleigh Music Academy.
