About me: I am a serious music collector and an aspiring DJ who would like to break into the music business marketing talent. I am constantly in search for the NEXT big things in the industry. At the age of 10, I started collecting music and now have an extensive catalog. I first became interested in the music industry watching Video Soul with Donnie Simpson on a daily basis. I saw there was a ton of great music out there that radio and other outlets did not pick up. In 1990, I began doing mixtapes for fun to get the word out on up and coming artists and songs. I moved to the CD format in 1996 and have been making NEXT CDs ever since.
What is NEXT? NEXT is any of a number of things: a new artist, a future single, a hot new producer, a record executive, a songwriter, a background singer who hasn't gotten a chance to be in the spotlight, or someone who's yet to be discovered.
