About me:
The Ronald McDonald House of Metro St. Louis provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children who live outside a 50-mile radius and are being treated at area hospitals. The facility has grown from an eight-bedroom facility in 1981, to four facilities which include two houses and three Family Rooms in St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, one at St. Louis Children's Hospital and one at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center.
In total, The Ronald McDonald House provides comfort, care and lodging for families each evening. The Ronald McDonald House of Metro St. Louis has been caring for families since 1981.
In 2008 Ronald McDonald House served 1,332 families and provided 12,788 families with nights of lodging or nights occupied.
