About me:

I'm a Beer Man (specialty imports and crafts only) that works way too much! It is probably one of the better jobs to have with more great perks than drawbacks. I'm often asked how you get into this business and quite honestly it has a lot to do with being in the right place at the right time. I was having a great time in life being young and stupid and then I met Kristy (my hot wife!), who got me to calm down(somewhat for those of you that know me =), got married, had a child etc... Well now I realized I had to grow up, at the same time I'm realizing this the company I currently work for decides to get into the import beer business. They of course knew nothing of the beers they just purchased and I happen to be their biggest beer account. They came to me and made me an offer I could not refuse. So there it is, I was supposed to be a techno geek with a pocket protector locked in an office and I turned into an Import Beer Marketing Manager instead. Quite honestly I think I'm better off in my current situation. My career has taken me to Europe a few times, Japan, the Caribbean way too many times, Canada a few times, Mexico, and all over the USA. Not a bad job at all! .. ..

This is really a great book whose main message is to think before you act by weighing all options and possible results and if after that you realize you can't win don't do it. A message we should all use in life if we want to succeed. Most anything on important historical periods & politics. I have also read every Sherlock Holmes story there is. Philosophy.

  • Heroes

    Anyone who was not afraid to go against the accepted norm of the time and try to make the world aware of the truth. Galileo is a prime example - the man was executed for telling the world the universe did not revolve around the Earth! Ben Franklin of course who said, "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
