The future...or dance music that has yet to be categorized. Heck, we just make what we like. Who cares about the next great style of music. Good stuff makes people move. We would love to just make songs that culminate into a koto playing the theme to Lynn Minmei's 'To Be in Love', or how about a song that makes people dance like a hoe-down, bugs bunny style. Nah, then people will start pulling eachothers beards and all heck will break loose.
RND () is the transpacific pairing of San Francisco DJ David Gropper and LA/Tokyo guitarist Robert Palazuelos. Meeting by chance in a Japanese Film class at UC Berkeley and realising they had a lot in common, they soon ended up in a studio experimenting with various synths and drum machines. Music quickly took flight. Their debut track 'Ripples' had been in Sasha's record box for many months, gathering a huge buzz from Sasha's support at the Guvernment in Toronto, and at Creamfields. Soon, DJs all over the world were 'randomizing' theirs crowds with RND ()'s colossal tracks, no doubt assisted from the incredible remixes by such international stars as JONDI & SPESH (Looq Records), JOSH GABRIEL (Gabriel & Dresden, Motorcycle) and MOMU (Bedrock). The past few years has seen RND () in the studio, bringing their sound to new heights, as well as cultivating new talent and close friends in a multitude of side-projects, such as the industrial band RICHARD AND THE FUNHOLES, as well as Rob's solo work called MR. EMPTYHAND.

RND ( ) is looking forward to a very bright release schedule this year. Upcoming on IMAGIMOCEAN RECORDS is 'MYSTERIOUS WORLD' and 'SPACE & TIME'! Both songs appeared briefly on this site, so keep your eyes out for new stuff. We also have a huge batch of amazing songs coming out on TOES IN THE SAND RECORDS, which includes some great tracks such as 'YARS REVENGE' and 'ZOR PRIME'!
Also please be patient about friend requests. We usually spend most of our time enjoying our lifestyles full of fast cars and slow women, and bringing those experiences to the music, so please be patient.
RND ( ) songs can be found on iTunes, 3Beat, and any number of digital release sites that we have yet to see a dime from.
The track to remix is "Dan S - Inferno Chapter" Influenced by different styles, u will find some Progressive / Techno / Minimal samples. Of course you will understand that we are open to all styles.
Last winners was 4 different styles ! So dont hesitate... Winners will be released on Follow Mix Records, and why not sign an own EP in a second time.
