Especially Derek and the Dominos), The Who (some of Pete's solo stuff...and two songs from Roger), Ben Harper, The Allman Brothers Band, Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Freddie King, Radiohead probably more, but that's all I can think of...oh yeah: LockjawMovies

Well, I don't have cable these days (too distracting), but with the few channels I get, I do make it a point to watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report. I'm still a Simpsons fan too.Books
Currently not really reading anything. I'm bored with reading for a while unless I find something good. I want to get that Freakonomics. That sounds good.

I've been playing guitar for 23 yrs and I've been influenced by just about all the big name players who had a unique style, but my main influences are Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Dickey Betts, Pete Townshend. With all these old guys as my influences I'm even more shocked than any of you to have been influenced by a player who is younger than me. Derek Trucks, who took over Dickie Betts' spot in the Allman Brothers is an unbelievable guitar player and has charged me to step up and really learn how to play slide guitar. Fingerstyle and all.
