Hey Everyone! Welcome to Holston Conference Youth Ministries Road 2 Resurrection. We have started this page to get more youth involved with youth ministries and to show you the long, hard, but fun planning process for Resurrection every year. Tell your friends about us and have them to add us as their friend. We are so excited about where this is going to lead youth. This is God's plan in the making. Thanks for the add!!
Here is a brief introduction of the people behind this Road 2 Resurrection page, and some of the people that are involved in the planning process of Resurrection.
Laura is the Director of Youth and College Ministries at Holston Conference. This means she is in charge of planning events and working with our age group! She does things like work on the Resurrection design team, work with CCYM, send out an e-mail newsletter about events in the conference (which you can sign up for at www.holstonyouth.com), help organize Methodist affiliated college foundations like the Wesley Foundation at UTK and ETSU, and create events like Assembly, Discovery, and Pilgrimage. She has worked with the conference since August of 2008, b4 joining the staff she was a youth director in Athens.
JaNae' works alongside Laura with planning and working closely with youth and young adults. She has worked for the conference since June 2008. She often meets with CCYM, design teams, and other conference leaders. She will also be very active in keeping up this page, and answering all your burning questions about what is going on. Remy is in high school, and was asked to talk about all that goes into planning Resurrection each year. She is the one who will usually write the blogs you will see posted on this page. She will attend various meetings, meet and talk with those in charge of various areas dealing with the event, and hopefully answer the questions that you want to know about Resurrection!(umyouth@holston.org)
