About me: Roadhouse Rags is located at 1600 Fortview, one block West of Bannister and one block East of Manchaca, on the West bound feeder road of Ben White/290w/71w in lovely South Austin. The store is owned by Kelli Archer and Clay Connell and specializes in Men’s Vintage Western Shirts, Cowboy Boots, vintage purses and jewelry, vintage sleepwear, 1940's-1960's California pottery, and an exquisite collection of Women’s Party Wear. Roadhouse Rags aims to bring back the tradition of personal attention, it will provide a one-stop shopping experience as well as provide a social atmosphere. The store will be open for business where clients can peruse the racks while a variety of events musical and otherwise will be happening on the stage in the back yard.
Roadhouse Rags offers studio quality live recordings at a reasonable price to bands for use on their Myspace and websites, for demos, or for merchandise.
We are currently having early evening Saturday and Sunday shows in a great backyard setting. ALL SHOWS ARE BYOB! All Shows are $10 door. Kids are welcome and are admitted free. We are also currently showing movies in the backyard on a big blow up screen, on Wednesday Nights starting around 9pm, shows are $5 and are BYOB. Check out the calendar for upcoming shows. The backyard is also available for private parties. Store hours, 7days a week, open at 12 noon-6pm. At This time we only accept cash or checks. Sorry for the inconvienence.

Featuring musicians like Wine and Revolution, Suzanna Choffel, Freq Nasty and 62 other acts across three stages, over 100 visual artists ranging from photographers to jewelry-designers, film shorts by Austin Underground Film Society, on-site yoga and acrobatic training, DIY craft demos, fashion show by Rene Geneva, fire dancing performances and much more, Art Outside is an unforgettable, full-sensory art adventure. Art Outside also makes a special effort to reach out to families, and will offer interactive earth-friendly projects, storytelling, and a variety of arts and crafts workshops for children at this year's event.
Since its inception in 2004, Art Outside presented this year by Art Seen Alliance has played a significant role in shaping Texas' vibrant art and music community. By moving creative works from inside gallery walls to an outdoor setting with open sky and wild environs, Art Outside challenges guests to rethink the way they view art, fostering an environment where no genre is off-limits, no medium left unexplored.

Gates open Friday, October 9th at noon. All children 12 and under will receive free admission. In addition to camp ground privileges for full-weekend participants, Apache Pass offers RV parking and on-site shower facilities for guests, as well as music performance areas, a cantilevered stage over the San Gabriel river, and tents for participating artists and attendees.
