    ROADKILL - NO MORE from new CD!

    Australian hard rockers, ROADKILL - have just uploaded a new song, 'No More' - from the bands up coming second album release due May 2012. The mastered audio is a 'sneak peak' as to what the production and sound quality will be like - on the up coming new CD! The bands latest video for the song, was uploaded recently and can be seen at You Tube.com - see ROADKILL (Australia) which features 'demo' audio. A new video featuring the mastered audio will be uploaded in the next 24 hours. 'No More' was recorded in 2011 at Hobart's Green Room studios and was produced by Michael Shelley - who is producing the bands second album release, which will contain 13 songs and is yet to be titled. The new album features a number of different styles, within the hard rock genre. A new video/song titled, 'Some Kinda Monster' - will be uploaded in the next 2 weeks, showing a completely different side to ROADKILL compared to 'No More'!

    ROADKILL formed in 2006, in response to a lack of genuine hard rock bands in Hobart. The band featured - Neil Steel (vox), Zig (guitars), Sheppo (bass) and Keef Kenny (drums). ROADKILL recorded a 'rough demo' in April 2007, releasing it as a 3 track EP titled "More To Come" - quickly 'selling out' and is now considered a 'collectors' item. The band decided to work on a full length album and enlisted producer Brett Collidge, to oversea the recording of ROADKILL's debut album titled, "God Bless America" - which was recorded over 3 nights, cutting 12 songs to get that LIVE in the studio feel. The CD was released on November 9, 2007 - featuring 12 original tracks of ass kicking hard rock to let the world know, that real rock 'n' roll is very much ALIVE in Australia! ROADKILL played numerous shows in 2008 - in support of their debut album, including a tour which included shows in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong in June. The second half of 2008 saw ROADKILL come to a screaming halt, with two members being involved in two separate car accidents and another member having heart problems. ROADKILL made their LIVE debut in 2010 as a 5 piece outfit, Neil Steel (vocals), Zig (guitars), James Basser (guitars), Sheppo (bass) and Brendan 'Squid' Shelverton (drums) with an acoustic 'UNPLUGGED' show on February 7 @ the 'Alley Cat Bar' (Hobart). The band played a number of 'unplugged' shows before making their long awaited return to FULL electric mode on JUNE 3 @ the Brisbane Hotel in Hobart. The band are currently in the studio and will be recording over the next several months for their next CD, slated for an early 2012 release. Two new songs - 'No More' and 'Road To Hell' ' - has been uploaded to the bands' my space page and a videos for the song are at you tube - see ROADKILL (Australia). ROADKILL will release a DVD, "Clips, Live & Bootlegs" in November 2011 - containing 16 songs, gigs, studio, behind the scenes etc. ROADKILL will embark on shows around Tasmania and interstate during 2012 to promote the bands' second album release!
