Roadkill started in 1993 with playing Hard Rock covers but found way more satisfaction in writing their own music. After a few changes in the Roadkill line-up, Marco Hendriks joined Roadkill and that turned out to be the perfect formula for creating Heavy Metal. Roadkill recorded several demo-tapes, the “Pyramid” mini-CD, and the full-length album “Merlin”.
Vocalist Marco Hendriks died halfway through 2005 because of cancer and although we were all deeply saddened, Roadkill decided to keep the Metal Flame burning. They found a new front man named Marc Mac Blade (ex Wastelands) and Jack Dekker completed the new line-up on guitars. Both Marc and Jack have proved themselves as very dedicated, totally musically talented, true headbangers and are, just like Marco was, irreplaceable.
With the troops back in line, Roadkill started to concentrate on the future with writing and recording their latest release : the “Dark Side” EP. The five killer-tracks will show you the absolute, undeniable dedication of this band to Heavy Metal. For Roadkill the time has come to conquer the world with Heavy Metal : Let the songs on the "Dark Side" make clear that there is no denying:
