Roadkill started in 1993 with playing Hard Rock covers but found way more satisfaction in writing their own music. After a few changes in the Roadkill line-up, Marco Hendriks joined Roadkill and that turned out to be the perfect formula for creating Heavy Metal. Roadkill recorded several demo-tapes, the “Pyramid” mini-CD, and the full-length album “Merlin”.
Vocalist Marco Hendriks died halfway through 2005 because of cancer and although we were all deeply saddened, Roadkill decided to keep the Metal Flame burning. They found a new front man named Marc Mac Blade (ex Wastelands) and Jack Dekker completed the band as their new guitarist. They started to write and record their "Dark Side" EP in 2007. The five killer-tracks will show you the absolute, undeniable dedication of this band to Heavy Metal.
In 2008/2009 the band has written new material for their upcoming full-length CD which is delayed because Jack decides to leave the band. Now, November 2009, They're proud to announce that they're back in business: They found a new guy on the six-string, his name is Tim Wolvetang! This guy is totally dedicated to heavy metal and an awesome guitarplayer.
With everything back in place Roadkill is ready to conquer the world with Heavy Metal.
