Road takes on the timely topic of environmental contamination through the fictional story of Margaret and Jay, (Catherine Kellner and Ebon Moss-Bachrach), ex-lovers on an ill-fated journey to photograph environmental clean-up sites throughout USA and Canada. Catherine and Ebon were jointly awarded the Jury Prize for Outstanding Performance, at the 2005 Los Angeles Film Festival. The film also won the Best Original Score Award at the 2006 Brooklyn International Film Festival for music written by Chris Brokaw, formerly of the rock bands Come and Codeine.
