Road Trips for Charity is a 100% volunteer organized event that was founded in 2005 by Stephanie, Kimberley and Heather Nash. It was created to help raise awareness and donations for charities! It's a fun bus that travels to various events in Canada and the USA. Presently we're helping 3 local charities in Windsor Ontario: The Downtown Mission, Street Help and Unit 7. They focus on the needs of homeless people or people at risk of becoming homeless.
Capture the spirit of community and volunteerism and take the fun bus with Road Trips for Charity! We're going to sporting events, shopping, concerts, restaurants, tours and other great places.
Have any other ideas or places you wanna go to? When you hop on the Road Trips for Charity fun bus the charities benefit directly!
How it Works: Hop on the fun bus for $10 per person round trip. (this is our fixed cost to run the event within Windsor-Essex County and Metro Detroit.) Bring your donations of canned goods, pkgs of warm socks, knap sacs, sleeping bags, warm clothes, bottles of water or make a cash donation. We drop off the donations on the way!
