Hey folks! I’m a musician and producer. Guitar and Rock n’ roll – ashtray vocals in Bastards. (In Danish: Stodder-rock). Guitar-strangulator in Corpus Mortale (Death metal),
Male, age: 31, straight, beers and rock'n'roll; of course!
Corpus Mortale (Death metal)
I joined Corpus Mortale in 2001 as lead guitarist. Mounting candles on the layer cake, ha ha. Check out the track "Postmortem Rape" at the Corpus Mortale myspacesite. During my time in Corpus Mortale we made a Rock jam based on the same members as CM + Morteteen, but different instruments, and later on a Motorhead Jam-band. It’s quit funny to play all kind of different cover-stuff and you really learn a lot.
Bastards (Rock n roll)
In 2006 we decided to write our own stuff in the Rock ‘n’ roll mode. That’s Bastards. Dirty rock ‘n’ roll with metal influence. Two tracks has been recorded amongst a bunch of Motorhead songs: “Blinded by desire” is a straight forward metal-influenced track, which will define the future style more than the other track “Pain Of The Second Day” which is an experimenting track. A 5 track demo will be recorded soon probably with the title “Double tongue whore” and the production should reach a more professional level.
Slow Death Factory.
Back in 2004 Morten Gilsted was hungry to get the Slow Death factory - project running, and I was joining his project as a bassplayer and studiomate for the recording of the demo "Music For Tough Guys"." I played several liveshows and the bassline on the debut album, but decided to quit the band. I've had a great time in SDF but unfortunately there is not enough time to do all what you want, but I'm happy that SDF has become an established band, and now have a fulltime lineup. My work is done.
As a producer
I’ve been recording music for many years. Here is a list of some it. Click on the friend-link below, if you wanna hear it.
Corpus Mortale 3 track single “Seize the moment of murder”. This was kind of a warm up single before we recorded the second Corpus Mortale album: “A New Species Of Deviant”. We’ve tried to make the sound different from other bands playing fast metal. Pretty dry with more room for the basguitar.
Slow Death Factory’s first Demo “Music For Tough Guys”. Morten Gilsted came up with an insane rotten guitar-sound. Any tone left to hear the riff? I was sceptical, indeed. But it worked ok combined with a “more-tone” guitar sound. Some people say that the guitarsound still is too rotten and blurred and I agree at some point. But at the other hand: It gives the whole production a special and recognizable sound, which I think is cool.
Mia Lee Yun. Smooth acoustic ballad-style. It’s screaming for drums, ha ha, but it’s only a demo. Exciting to record the female vocal with such a beautyful voice.
Zahrim: In cooperation with Zahrim-member Lord Cruloz we've recorded two demos. It's Black metal, supposed to be noisy, dirty and evil as hell. Scary...
Check it out.
My experience and advice to all of you, whether it’s your music, your sound, the production: Do something new!!! Try out different gear! Try a different sound. Your target should be your own sound, not another standard plug-in automated heard before sound. Music needs character. So remember to kick your producers ass if he goes - Hmm we better do it my way, otherwise I’m not sure it will work. It’s your money.
Mobile Studio
My future plan about recordings is a mobile studio. My target is top quality sound recordings anywhere. In your rehearsal room or a live concert. The mixing and mastering process can take place in my apartment. I think it’s a great alternative to traditional studios, and I look forward to record a live show. I will update this site when I’m ready to go. I need to do some experiments before I charge anyone for a serious recording.
Back in the old days
I’ve been playing music since I was 7 years old, doing the vocal since I was 14, but at that time it sounded pretty funny. It’s a tuff game to sing heavy metal with a child’s voice, ha ha. Back in 1992 me and Martin Rosendahl started our first band “Raiden”, mainly metallica covers, but we wrote a few tracks ourselves before the end of the band in 1994. Later on I started the band Crapulence with Morteteen Jensen and Søren Jensen. Megadeth technical style., We couldn’t play beyond our limitations, so the band was ended in 1999.
Hey hun, thanks for the add and for your kind comment, there is an english version (cinderella) at my profile, and I totally understand about the ambience, keep in touch, Tula
How and the hell have you been and what is new with you? Well just thought to ask and since I never hear from you these days! Just hope that you are alive? Val's Hell! :)
