The Roaring Meg or "The Meg" as it is known to it's locals is situated in Biddulph, a small town on the Staffordshire-Cheshire Border. We're well known for our good ale, fantastic atmosphere and all of our crazy fancy dress partys!

Just a quick note to all those Biddulph people to say that next Monday (11th December) will be both my 250th quiz and 6th year aniversary of doin the quiz at the Meg. Its hard to believe that I've been doin it for that long, especially when I only ever agreed to do it for one week as a favour. Anyway, to celebrate I'll be probably be doin some special stuff on the Monday night, don't want to give anything away yet (which means I've not actually decided what to do), but it should be a good laugh, and I'll be putting extra effort in when writing the quiz this week, instead of doing it while being half asleep and hungover like most other weeks.
Micks already sorted me out with a load extra prizes, including hopefully loads of T-Shirts which can be won.
Anyway if you'd like to come up and take part and celebrate with me, then it starts at the normal time of 8.45pm.
Thanks to everyone who came to the casino night it was a great night we manged to raise £150 for the football team and give out some good prize money to the winners thanks again
