Behind Roasted & Fried hides the chef of Still Cookin’ Records, who started his career in 1993 with the project Dopey Clay in the Netherlands. After the productions were even played by Ferry Corsten, Expulsion Records was founded. Therefore Torso was released on Peppermint Jam and any remixes for Mousse T., Shik Stylkö and Marshall Jefferson followed. But cooking alone thickens and so Michael Will was hired as Souchef and so on the Studio Brothers were born. The longlasting audio technical teamwork made the production of the clubhit “Sounds” to a mere child’s play, no wonder because the track used the old Chicago sample "Streetplayer", which was also used by the Bucketheads. However Roasted & Fried isn’t only a cool boy, he is also very successful with his label Still Cookin’ Records and his booking agency Still bookin’ Management.

Hinter Roasted & Fried steckt der Chefkoch vom Hannoveraner Label Still Cookin‘ Records, der mit dem Projekt Dopey Clay 1993 seine Karriere in Holland begonnen hat. Nachdem auch Ferry Corsten die Produktionen auf seine Plattenteller gelassen hat, war die Gründung von Expulsion Records angesagt. So wurde Torso auf Peppermint Jam produziert und es folgten etliche Remixe für Mousse T., Shik Stylkö, Marshall Jefferson und anderen. Doch alleine kochen macht ja bekanntlich dick und so wurde Michael Will als Beikoch angeheuert und schon waren die „Studio Brothers“ geboren. Die jahrelange tontechnische Zusammenarbeit der beiden machte die Produktion des Clubhits „Sounds“ zu einem Kinderspiel, kein Wunder, schließlich nutzte der Track das alte Chicago "Streetplayer" Sample, das auch schon von Bucketheads benutzt worden ist. Doch Roasted & Fried ist nicht nur ein geiler Typ, mit Still Cookin‘ Records und der neuen Booking-Agentur Still bookin‘ Management ist er auch noch extrem erfolgreich.
